Check peas Salad

CHANA SANJEKO

½ kg chickpeas boiled.
¼ Kg cucumber, cut into cubes
½ dl lime juice.
Salt to taste
¼cup sesame seeds, roasted, ground,
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 or 3 chilies, whole, dried
3 tsp mustard oil
½ cup water
¼ cup coriander, fresh, chopped

Directions
Ina suitable bowl, combine chickpeas, cucumber, turmeric, salt, ground sesame seeds, lime juice, half of the green coriander and water and mix thoroughly. In a small pan heat mustard oil until hot; add cumin seeds and red chilies. Fry them until brown. Pour it over check peas and cucumber in the bowl and mix them thoroughly; garnish with remaining green coriander leaves. Enjoy it as a salad or a side dish.
